Whilst London is the Market of choice for many buyers of insurance and reinsurance around the World due to it's specialist broking and underwriting capabilities, as well as capacity and diversity of risk transfer products, our administrative processes haven't always enjoyed quite the same high standing. There are still reasonably high levels of rework and error, along with multiple entering of the same data by many parties, which generates unnecessary cost and delay. In addition, we still see many labour intensive working practices and as an industry, we are not gaining the same benefit from technology, as enjoyed by parts of the financial services community.
